On April 9, Mr. Wang Guangyuan, Executive Director of Sichuan Mengdingshan Academy for Cooperative Development (Mengdingshan Academy), led a team to visit UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED).

During the meeting, Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of INRULED, introduced INRULED’s medium-term strategy (2024–2029), key priority areas, and recent progress. Mr. Wang Guangyuan, shared the progress made by Mengdingshan Academy in developing a systematic support programme for agricultural cooperatives, and outlined the Academy’s future directions for exploring international exchange and cooperation.
Both sides agreed that the exchange had enhanced mutual understanding. Looking ahead, the two parties will leverage their respective strengths in talent development, international exchange and knowledge production to deepen collaboration, jointly exploring rural development experiences grounded in China’s context and sharing relevant insights with the global community.
