On the morning of 16th July, 2025, Mr. Jiang Mingfang, Secretary-General of the Rural Revitalisation Committee of the China Adult Education Association (CAEA), visited the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED).

During the meeting, Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of INRULED, presented INRULED's work encompassing skills development, ICT in education, women's and girls' education, and education for promoting sustainable rural development. Mr. Jiang Mingfang then shared the Committee's innovative practices in advancing rural revitalisation, detailing their programmes in adult education and vocational skills training that have demonstrated measurable impact in cultivating skilled talents for rural transformation.
Both parties reached consensus on strengthening cooperation in rural skills development, with plans to deepen collaboration through joint research initiatives on "Education for rural revitalisation" and facilitating international exchange opportunities for vocational and adult education practitioners. This partnership aims to document and disseminate China's innovative approaches in rural education development.
