On November 9, the China-Gulf States Dialogue on Higher Education Cooperation was held in Hangzhou. Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED), was invited to attend the meeting. During the event, Dr. Zhao introduced the INRULED’s development strategy and major programmes, proposed recommendations for collaboration with Gulf countries, and engaged in thorough exchanges with representatives from universities in the Gulf region.

The dialogue was hosted by the College of Education of Zhejiang University and served as a important side event for the 2025 World University Presidents Forum.
