On August 22, Ms. Jiang Yuan, Producer of CGTN French, led a team to visit the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED) to discuss potential cooperation on media projects under the framework of the 2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges.

During the meeting, Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of INRULED introduced two key projects in collaboration with African partners—China-Africa Deans of Education Forum and the Closing the digital divide: Ensuring gender-transformative digital skills education for women and girls. He highlighted the positive impact of these initiatives in promoting educational innovation, digital learning, gender equality, and sustainable development. Ms. Jiang Yuan presented CGTN's multilingual international media network and channel positioning, expressing the hope to explore multidimensional collaboration with INRULED in areas such as documentary production, educational feature reporting, and digital communication to jointly showcase achievements in China-Africa education and cultural cooperation.

Both sides agreed that the visit strengthened mutual understanding, laid a solid foundation for future cooperation, and looked forward to launching broader and more impactful joint projects during the 2026 China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges.
