Prof. He Ying Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ningbo University, and her delegation visited the International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED).

At the meeting, Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of INRULED, warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced INRULED’s development, thematic areas, and recent progress in advancing international rural education research and practice. He highlighted INRULED’s dedication to sustainable rural development, global governance, and policy innovation in rural education, as well as its broad international influence and extensive cooperation experience.

Prof. He Ying shared the School of Foreign Languages’ strengths in talent development, international academic exchange, and cross-cultural cooperation. She emphasized the School’s commitment to nurturing students with a global outlook, improving their intercultural communication skills and international competitiveness, and preparing them as globally competent professionals for society.

The two parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on the issue of cultivating globally competent talent. They exchanged valuable ideas on education philosophy, curriculum development, and international collaboration, and explored opportunities for future cooperation in teaching, faculty training, and research.

This meeting built a strong communication bridge between Ningbo University's Faculty of Foreign Languages and INRULED, laying the foundation for closer cooperation, resource sharing, and complementary strengths to jointly promote rural education development and international education collaboration.
